Homepage

Homepage

The homepage follows the single-column academic layout, purple accents, news cards, education and experience entries, and publication previews of Hsu1023’s homepage (source). The implementation is adapted to this repository’s existing GitHub Pages setup; it does not require al-folio’s additional plugins or external CSS/CDN dependencies.

  • _pages/about.html: homepage content, personal information, and four selected publications.
  • assets/css/homepage.css: responsive layout and light/dark styles.
  • assets/js/homepage.js: theme switch, with a saved preference.
  • images/profile.png: existing avatar.
  • _config.yml: shared site description and contact information.

The paper previews are original paper screenshots: PhysFlow Figure 3, GraVQ Figure 3, CDBridge Figure 1, and the overall-method block on page 5 of DuQuant++ (which has no standalone framework figure). Click each preview to view it at full size. Official institution emblems replace the text marks. PhysFlow lists Xianglong Guo as co-first author, first listed; GraVQ lists Chang Yu and Xianglong Guo as equal contributors, with Xianglong Guo second. The GraVQ title and author list follow the supplied PR-submission PDF. GraVQ is listed as Pattern Recognition (PR), under review, per the supplied information. PhysFlow and GraVQ do not have paper links because none were supplied or verified. Add them when public URLs are available. No ORCID link is shown because the screenshot does not contain an ORCID identifier.

The legacy /publications/ and /publication/ paths lead to the homepage publications section. /about/ and /about.html remain supported by Jekyll redirects.

For the full site, use the repository’s existing Jekyll workflow (bundle install, then bundle exec jekyll serve). The homepage itself uses plain HTML/CSS/JS and can also be previewed after removing its YAML front matter.
